Orlando, FL June 26, 2001 Communications companies have another choice for customer relationship management (CRM) with the announcement today of a new offering from Amdocs.
Amdocs, a provider of CRM, billing and order management applications for the communications industry, said its Campaign Management application will allow companies to conduct targeted, personalized marketing campaigns.
The application integrates with Amdocs' Ensemble customer care and billing platform or with an operator's existing legacy system and CRM front ends and channels.
In addition, the application utilizes a data-mining engine to identify and rank customer population segments, prioritize campaigns based on the expected impact on the customer's lifetime value (CLV), calculate customer's probability to accept an offer and select the customer's optimal contact channel.
Paul Atkinson, senior vice president of marketing at Amdocs, said that CRM has become a critical component of the communication operator's business environment. "With the increase of prepaid subscribers, churn continues to rise and operators must manage and fulfill customer expectations," he said.
