Grand Rapids, MI and Greenwood Village, CO October 17, 2001 The saying goes that we are better than one, and in this case it's Provia Software, a provider of order-to-delivery fulfillment software solutions; and DigiTerra Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CIBER Inc. The companies have announced a formal supplier-alliance agreement to offer a joint implementation methodology using Provia's application suites of supply chain execution and collaboration products, including ViaWare, ViaView and FourSite to customers.
The agreement combines DigiTerra's experience in integrating enterprise and e-business application solutions with Provia's application suites to provide a single source for supply chain execution solutions for customers. This includes services related to supply chain strategy, system selection, operational assessment, application and system integration, project management, supply chain product solutions, and technology solutions (RF, printer, and platform).
DigiTerra's experience in supply chain execution solutions plays well to our experience in offering a robust solution set, said Ken Lewis, Provia's president and CEO. With this partnership we can offer clients a higher level of service before and after the sale. With DigiTerra's services, clients will be able to take a holistic approach to logistics and maximize their entire operations through operational assessments, application and system integration, project management, and supply chain product solutions.
Currently, DigiTerra and Provia are engaged in a project for a global watch manufacturer, which is utilizing DigiTerra's experience with Oracle to develop a standard interface between Provia and Oracle applications. DigiTerra also plans to work with other Provia clients to perform process improvement studies of how their facilities are utilizing Provia's ViaWare and how these Provia clients can leverage additional features and functions to maximize their investment.
