SRM provider lands boatload of new contracts

Boston  May 14, 2002  Christmas came early at Open Ratings this year. The provider of supplier relationship management solutions recently announced a new influx of customer wins for its BPImpact solution. Among the companies that closed contracts with Open Ratings during the past several weeks are: Commerce One, Inc.; Gunite Corporation, a designer and manufacturer of wheel-end components for both the original equipment and aftermarket segments of the heavy-duty truck market; Juniper Networks, Jernberg Industries; Micrel, a manufacturer of advanced high-performance analog, mixed-signal and digital IC's; Microsemi Corporation, a manufacturer of discrete semiconductor products; Plantronics, a provider of headsets to telephone companies and the business community worldwide; and Pinnacle Systems, a provider of digital video creation, storage, streaming and viewing solutions for broadcasters, video professionals and consumers.

Open Ratings' BPImpact solution allows buyers to improve supplier relationships, increase efficiencies across supply chains, reduce both hard and soft dollar costs, and mitigate supply chain risk. In addition, the product allows procurement executives to manage the sharing of knowledge about suppliers, materials/commodities, company policies and sourcing.
