Elogex Taps Logistics Industry Veteran

New executive VP will lead growth initiative

Charlotte, N.C.  September 6, 2002  Elogex Inc., a provider of collaborative logistics solutions, said it has selected logistics industry expert Jerry Overcash as its executive vice president. In his new position, Overcash will be responsible for sales, client services, marketing, product management and strategic business development.

"Jerry will play a crucial role in the next phase of our growth, bringing new relationships, ideas, processes and energy to Elogex," Travis Parsons, president and CEO of Elogex said. "His experience in this industry will allow us to accelerate our momentum and increase the level of service that we provide to our clients."

Elogex said Overcash has more than 30 years of experience selling and delivering software solutions with companies including Servigistics, G-Log, Manugistics, Cullinet and Enovia. Overcash brings to Elogex his experience in the technology behind logistics solutions and the foresight on how to bring those solutions to the marketplace.

"My main goal is to help our clients use our Network to realize substantial value for themselves and their trading partners," Overcash said. "I'm also eager to help Elogex to execute and extend its product strategy."

Prior to joining Elogex, the Charlotte native served as executive vice president of worldwide sales for Servigistics, where he created an organization that built a client base in Europe, Asia Pacific and North America. His work history also includes a senior executive position at Manugistics. In his previous work with G-log, Overcash managed sales and pre-sales support, business development, alliances, marketing and client services, including implementation and customer support.
