Santa Clara, CA November 8, 2002 Global Factory, a provider of distributed manufacturing operations solutions, has announced that Amkor Technology Inc. selected the company's GF!Quality solution to monitor and manage quality indicators and processes for Amkor manufacturing operations.
Global Factory said its solution delivers quality information and automates key processes so a manufacturer can not only see how well its distributed operation is running, but also can manage the exceptions and inevitable changes that occur within a company's manufacturing and supplier base.
In addition, the provider said it allows suppliers and factories to get up and running without change to their current business processes and allows an organization to do this with minimal staff and resources.
