Dallas, TX November 20, 2002 The viaLink Co. announced today that Kmart Corp. had selected viaLink's syncLink service as part of its strategic supply chain initiative.
The company said that by sharing a single view of key commerce data with syncLink, Kmart and its suppliers will be able to have accurate data, eliminate redundant work, and avoid errors and discrepancies in purchase orders and invoices.
Using viaLink's syncLink service also provides Kmart with the foundation for more supply chain programs including scan based trading.
Kmart Corp. is a $36 billion company that serves America with more than 1,800 Kmart and Kmart SuperCenter retail outlets.
