Supply chain execution specialist points to partnership program as key to international customer wins

Eden Prairie, MN  February 11, 2003  HighJump Software, a provider of supply chain execution (SCE) solutions, this week touted its international growth as evidenced by new customer wins in countries around the world achieved through its global partnership program.

Founded in 1983, HighJump provides solutions for warehouse, yard and transportation management, as well as supply chain visibility, event management, supply chain collaboration and automated data collection.

The solution provider highlighted wins in various countries and in several sectors, including retail, telecommunications, food/beverage and consumer packaged goods, and utilities, bringing the company's customer roster to 700-plus.

Key recent wins include Alen Grupo in Mexico; SKF Italy; Ajover in Colombia; Hitachi in the Netherlands; Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago; China Light and Power in Hong Kong; Artysen Technologies in China; SMART Modular in Singapore; and Quebec Telephone in Canada.

HighJump has been targeting global markets through its International Associate Partner Program, which includes consulting and solution providers in various geographic regions.

"The rapid international growth that HighJump has experienced is noteworthy," said Steve Banker, director of supply chain research at technology consultancy ARC. "Leveraging local implementation partners is a sound global expansion strategy."

The provider also said it has extended Supply Chain Advantage, its collection of supply chain execution solutions, with multilingual applications, broadening the global deployability of the product line, allowing all solutions to support operations throughout the world.

"HighJump's strategy in leveraging local associates empowers us to build upon the strength of existing knowledge and the understanding of challenges unique to companies operating in those markets," said Michael Parmett, vice president of strategic and international alliances of HighJump Software.
