Phoenix, AZ February 14, 2003 Intesource, a procurement technology consultant and provider for the food industry yesterday announced that Wegmans Food Markets Inc. of Rochester, New York, has signed an agreement to use the Intesource suite and services to assist in procuring a variety of goods and services.
Effective immediately, the agreement follows the successful completion of a pilot program conducted in December 2002.

Composed of six modules, the Intesource procurement suite is a hosted, Web-based application designed to integrate with a corporation's existing infrastructure. The system uses the Web so companies can access the best market pricing for goods and services and pass those savings onto their customers.
