Chicago Ñ March 3, 2003 Ñ Premier Farnell, a global distributor of electronic, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) and specialist products and services, today announced that its Chicago-based business, Newark Electronics, is changing its trade name to Newark InOne.
In announcing the name change, Premier Farnell said it is maximizing the global strengths of its marketing and distribution businesses by aligning them under one family name InOne.
"This move highlights a key point in the evolution of the organization, as it continues to invest in understanding and meeting the individual needs of its customers anywhere in the world," the company said in a statement. "InOne businesses work closely together, sharing best practices and capabilities to supply more products and tailored services than their respective competitors."
