Philadelphia — March 19, 2003 — Buffalo Wild Wings, the eighth largest U.S. restaurant chain, has selected Stonepath Logistics to provide e-commerce and fulfillment capabilities that will allow its 207 stores in 27 states to order marketing products and supplies via a customized, Web-based order management system.
Founded in 1982, Minneapolis-based Buffalo Wild Wings has aggressive growth plans that include moving into 23 new markets in the next three years and filling in existing markets. Technomic has cited the company as the eighth largest restaurant chain.
The current engagement calls for Stonepath Logistics to handle order fulfillment, storage and time-definite delivery services for marketing materials that are requested by and distributed to corporate and franchise stores.
Through Stonepath's tailor-made Web-based "storefront," managers will have real-time access to the latest Buffalo Wild Wings Grill & Bar materials and proprietary products, helping streamline the process for stocking stores and orchestrating promotions.
Kathleen Alberga, Buffalo Wild Wing's senior vice president of marketing, said, "Stonepath Logistics has delivered a fulfillment solution that we believe will have an important role in facilitating our aggressive growth and expansion plans over the next several years."
