To offer product content solution that readies information for data synchronization
Atlanta — July 28, 2003 — ForestExpress, a provider of integration and catalog content services, today announced an agreement to provide catalog content technology and services to Sterling Commerce, a provider of business integration solutions. The new agreement broadens an already established network integration relationship between the two companies.
The companies said the expanded relationship would provide Sterling Commerce with ForestExpress' content preparation tool and related services, which, in turn, gives Sterling Commerce customers a service to organize, cleanse, categorize, standardize and automatically process product information.
Sterling Content Manager, a solution enabled by ForestExpress technology, was implemented and tested during the second quarter and launched in June.
Jim Hendrickson, Sterling Commerce vice president of Integrated Network Services, recognized customers' needs for a catalog content solution. "As our clients dig into the details of their customers' synchronization requirements, they're realizing they need to get their own data in order first, and Sterling Content Manager fits that purpose.
