Software Will Monitor Entire Order to Fulfillment Process
ATLANTA— (July 30, 2003) —Viewlocity, Inc. (OTCBB:VLCY), a provider of supply chain planning and event management applications that power the adaptive supply chain, today announced that Beaverton, Oregon based Planar Systems, a leading provider of computer screens, digital displays, and computer monitors, has selected Viewlocity to power their Demand Execution program. Viewlocity will provide supply chain event management (SCEM) software to monitor Planar's entire order to fulfillment process.
Planar selected Viewlocity based on the solution's robust functionality and ability to deliver a complete SCEM solution quickly. "Viewlocity clearly had the most mature SCEM solution out there that best met our particular needs," said Mike Coubrough, Director, Global Supply Chain Operations at Planar Systems. "Their solution doesn't bear the burden of extensive customization and development work, and their track record of successful implementations was influential as well."
