Colorado Springs, Colo.— August 7, 2003—Optika Inc. (Nasdaq:OPTK), an Enterprise Content Management provider of imaging, workflow, collaboration and records management software, announced the availability of its newest version of Acorde Payables for Oracle 11i Financials. This release leverages Web Services to greatly simplify implementation and reduce start-up time and cost. Acorde Payables for Oracle Financials also delivers enhanced process automation to reduce transaction costs, streamline document retrieval, and speed invoice approval and payment. New administrative capabilities provide a fine degree of control over the solution, and enable administrators to customize the system for their specific business needs.

Acorde Payables is available for all major enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems including Oracle, J.D. Edwards, PeopleSoft and Microsoft Great Plains. Acorde Payables helps enterprises streamline the processing and approval of vendor invoices and associated transactions, resulting in reduced costs and improved customer and vendor service. Acorde Payables packages provide the Acorde software, a set of implementation services and templates and a 'best practices' approach to making Optika customers successful. Acorde Payables can also be extended with Acorde Resolve to offer self-service and transaction issue resolution to vendors.
