Fuel Cell Vehicles ‘a $1.8 Billion Market in 2030’

Assuming hydrogen costs $6/kg at the pump, and oil prices reach $250/barrel, Lux Research forecasts that 63,000 fuel cell passenger vehicles will be sold globally in 2030.

According to Lux Research, material handling through the use of fuel cell forklifts offers increased value to customers. This will result in sales of 62,000 fuel cell forklifts (a CAGR of 21 percent from 2012), and revenues of $973 million (a CAGR of 18 percent from 2012).
