Folsom, Calif.Feb. 13, 2015International Business Systems (IBS), a global integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP), warehouse management software (WMS) and supply chain technology provider, announced that Victory Packaging selected IBS Dynaman WMS to drive efficiencies in the organization’s more than 65 warehouse and distribution centers.

The $2.4 billion company provides just-in-time delivery and inventory management to a diverse customer base. Its national network includes more than 6 million square feet of warehouse space and about 400 delivery vehicles.

A long-time user of IBS Enterprise ERP software, Victory Packaging will be deploying IBS Dynaman to support its move into the third-party logistics (3PL) market space. According to Armstrong & Associates, a research and consulting firm, the 3PL market is projected to grow 5.2 percent in 2014, bringing the U.S. market to $154 billion.

According to Tim Conroy, general manager of the Americas, IBS, “The growth of the 3PL market underscores the value of providers like Victory Packaging in managing complex distribution processes.”

The Houston-based company counts the U.S. Postal Service and Mayflower Transit among its customers. The volume of orders shipped by the company for all its customers is about 11,000 pieces per hour.

“Our business reputation depends on the ability to ship products accurately and in a timely fashion. IBS is facilitating those capabilities,” said Eugene Hope, CIO of Victory Packaging. “As the 3PL market continues to grow, Victory Packaging is prepared to meet the new opportunities head on.”

With the Victory Packaging agreement, IBS now has 80 U.S. sites under contract to use IBS Dynaman—part of an ongoing initiative to secure additional WMS customers in the region.
