The CSCO Virtual Summit, produced by SCM World, is the largest virtual conference of its kind in the world and year-on-year attracts over 1,000 senior supply chain, procurement, operations and IT leaders from global manufacturers and retailers.
The theme for this year’s CSCO Summit is “Supply chain standing up to the test.” Senior supply chain executives overwhelmingly worry about talent management and leadership development in their organizations. The test is using best practice, newly abundant field data and leading edge strategies to design supply chains that are agile enough to handle demand volatility—without relying on costly buffers of inventory, capacity and time. Talent in this context is more a matter of creative problem solving than mastery of established operational skills.
The agenda will focus on how business leaders are meeting these challenges with innovations in process and information technology and shed light on strategies for logistics, sourcing and demand management within complex global manufacturing & retail supply chains. Delegates attending will be executives responsible for designing and executing supply chain, procurement, operations and information systems and technology strategy for global manufacturers and retailers.
Confirmed speakers include Daniel Pleshko, CVP Global Supply Chain Operations, Lockheed Martin; John Haydon, EVP & Chief Supply Officer, Royal Philips Electronics; Roberto Canevari, Chief Supply Chain Officer, Carrefour; Andreas Backhaus, SVP Global Supply Chain & Process Innovation, BASF; and Kevin O'Marah, Head of Faculty, SCM World.
