New York - March 11, 2002 - e-Business services provider EDS and B2B
integration specialist SeeBeyond have announced a preliminary agreement
under which SeeBeyond will provide strategic software integration technology
for EDS' product lifecycle management (PLM) Solutions.
SeeBeyond's flagship integration platform, e*Gate Integrator, will be
embedded into EDS' PLM software, providing connectivity between these
solutions and third-party enterprise applications.

Grindstaff, president for PLM products at EDS' PLM Solutions division. "We
are 'open by design', and delivering open and scalable integration
capabilities built on technology from a proven solution provider like

With its selection of SeeBeyond, EDS will offer integration solutions based
on an open, distributed architecture, including support for Web services,
the ability to scale and a set of packaged adapters to leading enterprise
and supply chain applications.
The two companies said the joint solution will enable customers to leverage
existing knowledge and expertise in every phase of the product lifecycle.
