Denver, CO — June 30, 2003 — IQNavigator Inc., a provider of services procurement and spend management solutions, today announced that Northrop Grumman Corp.'s $4.2 billion Information Technology (IT) sector has implemented IQNavigator5 to manage its contract workforce and spending processes.
Northrop Grumman IT, a provider of IT solutions, engineering and business services for government and commercial clients, said it selected IQNavigator to automate the process of hiring and managing its contingent labor. The company said the software has streamlined its procurement and management processes for contract labor with third party staffing vendors, including supplier qualification, requisition creation and distribution, contractor and consultant selection and on-boarding, engagement management, time and expense entry, invoicing and payment.
IQNavigator5's business intelligence capabilities are being used by Northrop Grumman IT to analyze purchasing metrics. The software's requisition preparation and distribution, competitive bidding, process automation and decision support capabilities are being used by Northrop Grumman IT to reduce contingent contractor and consulting costs, ensure process compliance, provide more opportunities to small and disadvantaged suppliers, and measure supplier performance, according to the provider.
