Noted supply chain consultant to address invitation-only AL Systems conference in Newark
Rockaway, NJ — February 6, 2006 — Industry expert Patrick S. Sedlak, a principal of the supply chain consultancy Sedlak, will offer "10 Critical, Yet Often Overlooked Factors in High-performance Distribution Operations" during the upcoming supply chain conference organized and hosted by AL Systems on March 10.
The invitation-only conference will be held at the Guttenberg Information Technologies Center on the NJIT University Heights campus in Newark, N.J.
Sedlak has provided supply chain and distribution consulting services to such American companies as Kirkland's, PetSmart, Henkel, Victoria's Secret, Office Depot and Pacific Sunwear for more than 20 years. His areas of expertise include strategic planning, economic justification, overall concept development, facility location analysis, materials handling and information systems selection and implementation.
In addition to past AL Systems conferences, he has presented to the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, the North American Material Handling Show and Forum, Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) and the National Conference on Operations & Fulfillment.
