Software Certification for SYSPRO

The Accounting Library gives the go-ahead for version 6.0 of enterprise software

Costa Mesa, CA  November 1, 2002  Software provider SYSPRO this week announced that The Accounting Library, a software analysis tool for the comparison of accounting systems, has certified SYSPRO 6.0, the recently released version of SYSPRO enterprise software.

Consisting of a database of more than 160 accounting systems, SYSPRO said the Library assists end users and accounting software consultants to select accounting systems by providing more than 4,000 features that cover accounting, manufacturing and distribution criteria, to which critical weights can be assigned. The Library, which is updated on a regular basis, guides the selection process. All users are made aware of the product certification process, and certified products are specified as such.

SYSPRO's updated software is based on Microsoft .NET architecture, and it is also the framework for new Web-based applications developed using Microsoft ASP.NET and Microsoft. NET architecture. Major new additions in SYSPRO 6.0 are Business Analytics, Document Flow Management, integrated CRM and more powerful Finite Scheduling.

Joey Benadretti, vice-president, SYSPRO, added that the enterprise software solution encompasses enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), e-commerce, warehouse management and APS functionality. It also has more than 40 application modules that cover thing like financial controls, inventory control, materials resource planning (MRP)/production control, and distribution.
