Ashburn, VA and Chicago August 29, 2001 Enterworks Inc., a provider of supplier enablement software, and CCP global, an integrator and education provider of Ariba B2B e-commerce solutions worldwide, today announced their partnership to offer a comprehensive supplier enablement solution.
As a company that offers B2B e-commerce solutions implementation, CCP global will resell Enterworks Catalog Builder with CCP global's integration and training services.
The companies hope this joint offering will address suppliers' catalog needs and provide B2B systems integration for suppliers that want to participate in electronic selling channels, including private or public e-marketplaces.
Dennis Ducham, president and CEO of CCP global, said the joint offering will reduce the complexity associated with catalog building, while also joining electronic sales channels and thus reducing time-to-market for companies. Bob Lewis, president of Enterworks, added, "To date, the emphasis has been on bringing the buyer to the marketplace. Our strategy is to go straight to the suppliers, to enable them to participate in multiple online sales channels. Without enough suppliers in a marketplace, buyers don't have many choices. Suppliers will benefit from the combination of Enterworks Catalog Builder and CCP global's expertise in implementing supplier enablement and enterprise-application integration solutions."
