NetObjects' Samir Arora to Speak at Internet World Chicago

Arora to outline major changes in the B2B sector due to the emergence of ASP e-Services

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. /PRNewswire/ -- NetObjects Inc. announced that its chairman and CEO Samir Arora will open up the Internet World Chicago Webmasters' Symposium as keynote speaker. Arora will make the opening remarks at the Webmasters' Symposium on July 11 from 9:05 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Internet World Chicago is being held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Chicago, July 11-13.

In his presentation Arora will discuss the massive industry changes that are underway due to the emergence of new application service provider (ASP) services. In his speech, Arora will present a vision of leading B2B software and services that are transforming how individuals and businesses will use the Web. He will outline key ASP services for consumers, small businesses and enterprises, and list players in segments that address these needs by building destination e-service and content sites (Consumer Media Portals), destination e-commerce sites (B2C Portals), e-services infrastructure vendors (B2B Infrastructure), e-services tools vendors (B2B Tools), and embedded e-service vendors (B2B embedded ASPs).

Samir Arora is chairman, CEO and founder of NetObjects, Inc., which was founded in 1995. Arora was named 1997 Entrepreneur of the Year by the Information Industry Association's Emerging Business Council and was also awarded the prestigious Web Innovator award by CNET's BUILDER.COM. In 1992, Arora founded Rae Technology, a provider of software applications, and from 1992 through 1995 served as its CEO. From 1986 to 1992, Arora served in several management roles at Apple Computer, Inc.
