ANDOVER, MA. -- apps4biz.com announced that Veracicom has joined its Application Service Provider (ASP) partner program, which offers customers and channel partners regional, national and international hosted application options.
Veracicom offers hosting services in the Northwest U.S. for apps4biz solutions, including manufacturing, order processing, inventory management, supply chain management and e-commerce software. In addition to hosting apps4biz.com's solutions for small businesses (between $1 million -$50 million), it will also resell the applications through its own channel.
Andover-based apps4biz.com's ASP approach offers customers reduced risks, no up-front capital and requires no additional information technology infrastructure.
Its thin-client applications are ideally suited for this approach, employing only a few different screen formats vs. hundreds for similar systems. The incorporation of this simple design change means that the applications run smoothly and with lightening speed over the Internet because the screen formats are often small enough to be cached on the client, which leaves only the data required for a given transaction to flow through the connection.
