SANTA CLARA, CA PRNewswire December 18, 2000 Premier Farnell plc selected Netfish Technologies, an XML-based B2B e-commerce provider, to supply its e-procurement transaction backbone. The Netfish XDI server will enable electronic transaction service to customers including electronic ordering, real-time inventory status, customer-specific pricing and order status.
As a part of the agreement, Netfish's solution will integrate with any e-procurement technology. This enables Newark Electronics, a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Primier Farnell, to service its 30 current Ariba, CommerceOne and other e-procurement customers.
