MachineTools.com, a B2B e-commerce site for the machine tool industry, announced today that it has officially launched a total site redesign, complete with new features and functions.
The new, streamlined redesign and enhanced function, debuting just before the Industry's Westec 2001 tradeshow, was created in large part from the feedback and advice of their metalworking visitors. Now, instead of manually submitting machine listings individually, dealers and auctioneers can bridge their own inventories directly into MachineTools.com, saving hours of time and money. Furthermore, buyers can now reference used-machinery pricing from the past three years, in order to research a fair price for their intended purchases. Finally, machine shops and other visitors can now buy metals for their jobs direct through an online e-commerce solution.
Of the new design, MachineTools.com's CEO and founder, Stuart Carlin, said, Our plan is to continue listening and evolving to meet and exceed the needs of the Industry.
Originally launched in August of 1999, MachineTools.com provides the machine tool industry with a marketplace that connects the buyers and sellers of machine tools and related goods and services. MachineTools.com currently has new machinery models from over 975 builders and 2,300 distributors, an On-Location (real-world) Auction area and a Resource Directory with more than 5,000 companies providing machine tool-related goods and services.
