Chelmsford, MA April 6, 2001 MatrixOne, a provider of applications for collaborative commerce, has announced an alliance with management and information technology consulting firm Cap Gemini Ernst & Young to deliver product collaboration and Net market applications for a variety of industries.
Net market applications, or "networked-based exchanges," foster greater communication and collaboration within an enterprise and in the extended enterprise that includes a company's customers, partners and suppliers.
The alliance's target industries include automotive, aviation, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, energy, utilities and high tech.
