Newport Beach, CA -- July 23, 2001-- IPNet Solutions Inc., a developer of collaborative software for B2B companies, today announced the appointment of Claudia C. Johnson to the position of chief operating officer.
In her new role, Johnson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company including sales, marketing, business development, engineering and product management. She will report directly to Don Willis, IPNet chairman and CEO.
"Claudia brings an exceptional combination of knowledge and expertise to IPNet including consulting, business development, sales and marketing," said Willis. "Her proven track record in establishing and growing businesses will help strengthen IPNet's position in the B2B industry."
Prior to joining IPNet, Johnson was a partner and managing director at KPMG as well as group vice president for Oracle Corp., where she ran a 1,000-consultant practice.
Most recently, she served as president and CEO at Mycom North America where she was responsible for strategy and business creation. Johnson earned her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
