D&B exec named vice president, CFO

Murray Hill, NJ  August 3, 2001  Sara Mathew has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer at The Dun & Bradstreet Corp., effective August 20, 2001.

Mathew becomes a member of the company's Leadership Team, reporting to Allan Loren, chairman, CEO and president. Mathew joins D&B after an 18-year career with Procter & Gamble, most recently as vice president of finance responsible for the ASEAN region including Australia, Asia and India. In this capacity, Mathew led all aspects of finance for the region including Profit and Cash Management, Tax and Treasury. She was also responsible for strategic planning, organizational development and training.

Mathew earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from the University of Madras, in India, a graduate degree in Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants, also in India, and a MBA in Finance and Marketing from Xavier University, Cincinnati, Ohio.
