New York July 15, 2002 PwC Consulting, a business of PricewaterhouseCoopers, this week said it would offer PeopleSoft's enterprise analytics application as part of its iAnalytics solution.
As a key component of iAnalytics, PeopleSoft's Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solution will help deliver core solutions for financial, workforce, customer, supply chain and strategic analytics, the consultancy said.
iAnalytics, which stands for integrated analytics, is a PwC Consulting-owned solution intended to help companies make faster, more knowledgeable business decisions. PwC said its solution extracts and analyzes key data from disparate systems to help clients plan, budget and forecast appropriately.
PeopleSoft EPM's analysis and reporting capabilities help companies analyze profitability, customer satisfaction, employee loyalty and supplier performance, according to PwC.
Henry Morris, group vice president for applications and information access at technology research firm IDC suggested that PeopleSoft's analytic applications are a good fit with PwC Consulting's strategy and consulting expertise. "PwC Consulting and PeopleSoft form an ideal team for delivering analytic solutions to customers," Morris said.
