Palo Alto, CA July 26, 2002 Enterprise-class software solutions provider Valdero Corp. announced that current customer Juniper Networks Inc., which provides infrastructures for the New Public Network, has extended its commitment to Valdero by purchasing the company's modules for supply management and product lifecycle management to augment its current implementation.
Juniper Networks is using two new modules that complement its existing Valdero applications for demand, inventory and fulfillment. Valdero said Juniper Networks was able to implement within a short timeframe, demonstrating the company's "focus and execute" behavior.
Kim Perdikou, chief information officer of Juniper Networks said her company knew Valdero would help them gain better control over their supply chain. She added that the product is living up to their expectations of immediate usefulness. "By allowing us to leverage our existing supply chain technology investment to improve visibility into CEM activities and predict performance, Valdero has given us the ability to spend less time gathering data and more time analyzing and acting on it. We expect the new modules to help us drive toward our business objectives by offering insight into changing supply/demand scenarios and the financial impact of product changes across the entire supply chain network."
