E.piphany Allies with TIBCO

CRM, EAI specialists partner to ease system-to-system integration for joint clients

San Mateo, CA  August 21, 2002  E.piphany, a provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions, is partnering with enterprise application integration (EAI) specialist TIBCO Software to integrate E.piphany's suite of CRM applications with TIBCO's EAI software with the goal of providing joint customers with better data-sharing capabilities across heterogeneous applications within the enterprise.

TIBCO provides integration to enterprise software systems, including CRM, enterprise resource planning (ERP), supply chain management and fulfillment applications. For its part, E.piphany said its E.6 Platform and suite of CRM applications for marketing, sales and service allow companies to create a single view of the customer regardless of where the data actually resides in the enterprise.

The new partners said that, taken together, their solutions are going to help companies drive more valuable customer relationships and achieve lower total cost of ownership.

"Today's corporations are demanding easier data access across the enterprise, component applications for faster incremental implementations and more value out of existing applications," said Phil Fernandez, executive vice president of products at E.piphany. "E.piphany and TIBCO's shared vision of Java-based standards and technologies helps us to meet these requirements for our clients."

"Our alliance will work to address looming customer requirements around integrating CRM with back-end systems," said Keith Goldstein, vice president of global alliances at TIBCO Software, who added that those requirements include reducing implementation costs and providing customer information to front-line employees, partners and business executives.
