Kalamazoo, MI August 30, 2002 Configuration Solutions Inc., a provider of configuration software, said it has launched its CS-Publish solution a proposal generator and document management application that allows organizations to configure, price and execute product and service orders for customers. CS-Publish is an extension of the CS-Enterprise software solution suite for product and service environments.
Configuration Solutions said CS-Publish is designed to generate on-demand quotes and proposals for product/service offerings with variable and diversified components; or for goods/services that are customized by enumerating (through a large database) feature- and function-based information.
According to the company CS-Publish also creates a pricing and lead-time proposal that can accommodate variable textual and graphical content. The proposal is then stored in a database, can be accessed in different formats, and used with other functional requirements across the enterprise from order entry to engineering and on the factory floor.

Configuration Solutions said its technology is built on an open, object-based architecture, and it works in Internet, intranet and extranet applications.
