Vienna, VA October 10, 2002 Software company Entigo today announced the appointment of Stephen M. Layne as chairman and CEO.
Entigo specializes in sell- and service-side solutions, and the company has carved a niche for itself by offering a Web-based claims management system that lets manufacturers administer warranty programs online.
Prior to joining Entigo, Layne served as founder, chairman and CEO of United Messaging, a privately-held electronic messaging services provider. Layne has also held management positions at Lotus and Soft-Switch, a privately held company acquired by Lotus.
Prior to Soft-Switch, Layne was founder and CEO of Computer Access Software, a privately held software developer acquired by US Sprint in 1988.
