Provider unveils new brand, software release

Costa Mesa, CA  October 10, 2002  Software provider Syspro presented its new global brand, as well as a vision statement, representing the company's desire to maintain its footing in the software market. The company said it is optimizing brand awareness, placing the actual company, "Syspro" and its product, IMPACT Encore, under the unified SYSPRO name.

According to Syspro's CEO Phil Duff, research showed that some survey respondents identified the company by its product, IMPACT Encore, and others by the "Syspro" name. "A single brand identifier and unified belief set, vision and image are essential for the company to maintain itself as a player in the worldwide software market," explained Duff.

The company said that, in addition to the features that characterize its software, it is going to promote a new logo and vision statement. "The new logo symbolizes our modernized approach to an ever-demanding marketplace and to our energized and growing company that is committed to enhancing service to customers," said Duff. Its vision simply states that the company will increase customers' value through the use of Syspro's software.

Syspro announced its branding at its 2002 International Reseller Conference in Stresa, Italy, in September. The company also announced its newest software release, SYSPRO 6.0. Included in SYSPRO 6.0 are Business Analytics, Document Flow Management, integrated CRM [customer relationship management] and Finite Scheduling.
