Atlanta November 19, 2002 Logility, a supplier of collaborative commerce solutions, today said that BBA Materials Technology Group has picked Logility Voyager Solutions to forecast demand in an effort to improve supply chain responsiveness.
BBA is one of the world's largest international groups in the nonwovens industry, with leading positions in hygiene, medical, technical and industrial markets. Its said it has a goal to forecast customer demand for its range of products, and it chose Logility Voyager Solutions' demand solution for that purpose.
The company said it believes the solution improve inventory management and supply chain responsiveness. It will use Voyager Demand Planning to reconcile demand history, orders and other information to produce overviews of demand by item, location, customer and/or group.
