NumberCruncher Updates Work Orders

Version 2.0 of inventory and order management package for small business beefs up tracking capabilities

Hollywood, FL — June 3, 2003 — has released the latest version of its NumberCruncher Work Orders solution for inventory and order management.

Work Orders 2.0 is targeted at small businesses in the manufacturing sector, and like its predecessor, it is designed to be used with both the U.S. and Canadian versions of Intuit's Quickbooks, a popular small-business accounting package.

New features in version 2.0 include location tracking, serial number tracking and non-inventory item tracking. In addition, the upgrade incorporates additional flexibility in calculation of bill of materials, purchase orders status and tracking, and receiving/returns. Finally, Work Orders 2.0 offers unit-of-measure conversion, import/export and enhanced reporting.

According to the solution provider, pricing for Work Orders 2.0 starts at $349.95, although current users can receive discounts.
