Sterling, Va.— July 25, 2014—abas-USA announced that Vermont-based Concept2, a manufacturer of indoor rowing machines and racing oars, selected Abas-ERP as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. Concept2 is expanding its operations into Europe and needed a global solution.
“We needed an ERP platform that would combine both manufacturing and distribution into a single system, make inter-company transactions between the U.S. and Europe easier, and promote our team-based environment,” said Lisa Washburn, finance director at Concept 2.
It was more than just the technology, however, that helped make the decision for the Concept2 team. “We liked the people we worked with at abas,” Washburn said. “Like Concept2’s culture, abas was more personal than some of the larger companies we talked to, and the abas team offered many ideas for a successful implementation."
