German Fulfillment Company Selects eCommerce Platform

CDC software will power Hermes store-based and multichannel retailing

Shanghai—July 5, 2011 —CDC Software Corp.,, a hybrid enterprise software provider of on-premise and cloud deployments, announced Hamburg, Germany-based Hermes Fulfillment is using the cloud-based CDC eCommerce platform to help deliver eCommerce and multichannel retail services to its global customers.

Hermes Fulfillment is using CDC eCommerce to power the online storefront of Wolford, a global manufacturer and marketer of upscale hosiery, lingerie, and ready-to-wear items. CDC eCommerce’s platform is initially being used in Wolford’s online ordering system.

Hermes Fulfillment manages the eCommerce, store-based and multichannel retailing requirements of its global customers in more than 15 countries. Hermes manages the complete fulfillment needs of its customer including the online ordering system, distribution of the products from its warehouse, as well as return logistics.
