Over 250 Attendees Participated in Manufacturing Supply Chain Officer Summit 2013

Annual MSCO conference slated next for March 2014 in Shanghai, China

Shanghai, ChinaMarch 22, 2013—Integrated recourse platform provider GlobalSCM announced today that there were more than 250 delegates participated in the Manufacturing Supply Chain Officer Summit 2013, held March 21-22 in Shanghai, China.

The SCO summit, a global event for supply chain officers, provides top-level supply chain information services for global senior decision makers every year, from multiple sectors, categories, markets and disciplines from all parts of the world. It features up-to-date intelligence, strategic decision-making and top leader’s networking.

This year, MSCO 2013 assembled more than 250 truly senior level attendees, including 35 renowned speakers from 18 represented countries and regions, and 87 percent of all were VP/Director-level decision makers.

Regarding this year’s summit theme, “Turning Risk into Advantage,” the two-day conference addressed volatility and corresponding risk management; suggested further ways to achieve integration and end-to-end alignment to driving global supply chains. Through the sharing and discussion of collective wisdom, delegates closed in on finding solutions to cope with the new dynamism in the next decade and forward.

Evaluation forms revealed that 74 percent of delegates felt the conference was very good and 19 percent felt that the conference was excellent. And 94 percent believe that they would attend next year. Also, 89 percent of delegates commented that the conference exhibitions were attractive and nine percent commented that is was good. Lastly, 99 percent of sponsors were satisfied with the conference and 96 percent thought that the conference was good value for money.
