London—Feb, 14, 2013—AMEE UK Ltd., an open source directory of environmental and business data in the United Kingdom, signed a partnership agreement with PI Benchmark, an enterprise decision support service provider, to enable the analysis of supply chain related data from an environmental impact perspective.

Under the terms of the agreement, PI Benchmark will use Amee’s data to launch a new environment insight module for ProcureTrak, its procurement decision support service.
Amee’s open and transparent environmental data directory will provide a reliable source for PI’s analytical platform, enabling the company to include environmental data for the first time. ProcureTrak gives users the ability to interrogate their data in real time, i.e., being able to easily drill into and manipulate data; and change the perspective of the analysis—even when already working deep within the data. All questions are answered instantly.
As the business benefits of sustainability become more tangible, governments and corporates are seeking sustainable processes and procedures across their supply chains. Amee created a single free source for UK businesses to share data and ideas; to compare and learn from others; help reduce emissions; and enhance business benefits.
