Boston—Oct. 9, 2012—Third-party logistics (3PL) provider Transfreight—which engineers customized lean supply chains for top manufacturers such as Toyota and Yamaha—now utilizes Zerto’s Virtual Replication (ZVR) for disaster recovery to support its mission-critical applications. Microsoft SQL Server, Great Plains, Exchange, TMW Suite, ADP and Yard Smart are among some of the supported mission-critical applications, which were previously replicated between two main data centers in Kitchener and Cambridge.
The 3PL provider required very aggressive service levels to ensure no interruption to its North American customers. As a result, Transfreight chose Zerto’s solution due to its ability to fail back to a single point in time; its flexibility and scalability in the VMWare environment; and its features and functionality for effortless application recovery.
