Pittsburgh—Oct. 9, 2012—E-sourcing software solutions provider CombineNet Inc.’s ASAP e-sourcing product now featured added capabilities to improve the supplier user experience during online RFP and reverse auction sourcing events.

CombineNet ASAP delivers the ability to “Assign Awards” that capture the results of negotiations with suppliers and internal stakeholders on specific items by ‘locking in’ select supplier awards on individual items. It then continues the bid analysis and optimization process for remaining items. This feature streamlines the final steps of an e-sourcing event as buyers identify final award strategies and conduct negotiations with suppliers.
Additionally, CombineNet ASAP now provides an additional level of precision when evaluating the business to be awarded to incumbent suppliers when building “what if?” scenarios for bid analysis and optimization. These new rules enhance the existing ability within CombineNet ASAP to review award strategies for incumbent suppliers with very precise item-supplier-award combinations and based on an incumbent’s historical volume.
