Vitacost Launches Set & Save

Automatic replenishment delivery program secures best available listed price on items within the delivery sales cycle

Boca Raton, Fla.—July 30, 2012—Vitacost.com Inc., an online retailer of health and wellness products, launched its Set & Save automatic replenishment delivery program to lock in the best available price on products scheduled for re-delivery. This new program, which replaces Vitacost AutoShip, offers an additional 10 percent savings on select brands, a dedicated customer service line and free gifts sent with scheduled shipments. As an added bonus, once a customer has paid for 12 Set & Save shipments, the 13th shipment will be sent for free.

“Set & Save gives customers the unique ability to secure the lowest price on the products they order most often, from peanut butter to vitamins to organic toothpaste,” said Jeffery Horowitz, Chief Executive Officer of Vitacost.com. “With Vitacost Set & Save, customers will never have to worry about running out of these essentials—or about paying too much for them.”

Customers can choose to put any of Vitacost.com’s more than 35,000 products on Set & Save automatic delivery—there are no brand restrictions or limitations. In addition, they can choose to have products re-delivered at 15, 30, 45, 60, 90 or 120 day intervals with orders totaling $49 or higher shipped for free.

“Vitacost’s Set & Save program makes it easier than ever for customers to follow a healthy lifestyle by delivering the organic, nutritious products they use most often on a schedule that makes sense to them—and at the lowest available price,” said David Zucker, Ph.D., Chief Marketing Officer for Vitacost. “Because we see our Set & Save customers as being tremendously valuable, we are happy to offer them gifts, unique savings opportunities and other benefits to cultivate our relationship and reinforce Vitacost.com’s role as their partner for a healthier lifestyle.”
