ARI, Roush CleanTech Partner to Provide Alternative Fuel Evaluation

Demo vehicle offers firsthand look at propane autogas technology

Mt. Laurel, N.J.—Sept. 20, 2011—ARI, Automotive Resources International, a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, unveiled its Roush CleanTech propane autogas demo vehicle.  The partnership will provide in-house demonstrations of this groundbreaking technology to its clients.

“It’s important for our clients to fully understand any technology before they implement it, and this propane demonstration vehicle will give them hands-on experience with how the vehicle functions and performs said Carl Ortell, ARI President.”

ARI has an extensive in-house demonstration center at its headquarters in Mt. Laurel, NJ.  Clients and vendors are encouraged to watch sustainability, software, telematics, training and equipment demonstrations in order to make the most educated decision based on their unique needs.  The center has a variety of green technologies, and the addition of the Roush CleanTech vehicle will play an important role.

Roush CleanTech propane autogas technology burns cleaner in engines, resulting in the potential for longer engine life and reduced maintenance costs, with 60 percent less carbon monoxide, up to 24 percent less greenhouse gas emissions, and fewer particulate emissions when compared to gasoline. Additionally, propane autogas is a proven cost-effective, safe and highly reliable alternative fuel, with 90 percent of U.S. propane supplies produced domestically.
