Summit Building Systems Selects ERP System

DEACOM to provide panelized and modular home manufacturer with software for ERP and accounting

Wayne, PA January 6, 2006 Summit Building Systems, a Kentucky-based start-up manufacturer of high-end panelized homes, this week licensed Deacom Inc.'s accounting and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system.

The DEACOM software system is expected to provide Summit with order entry, item configuration, links to Summit's computer-aided design (CAD) system, production and scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and all accounting functions within a single, integrated system.

Since 1999, Deacom has offered its manufacturing business software to component manufacturers throughout North America. Now Summit Building follows Builder's Choice of Alaska as the second prefabricated home manufacturing customer of Deacom.
