Manufacturer taps PTC's Windchill product development system for data control and design collaboration
Needham, MA — February 16, 2006 — The Space Systems Division of manufacturer ITT Industries has standardized on a product lifecycle management solution from PTC as its data management and design collaboration solution.
ITT's Space Systems Division, a provider of remote sensing systems and services, required a system that would expand its ability to leverage intellectual capital and improve collaboration among its design staff.
Ultimately, ITT selected PTC's solutions because they deliver out-of-box capabilities that are easy to use and can be deployed quickly, according to the solution provider.
"Windchill PDMLink provides us with the control and collaboration capabilities needed to achieve a predictable and repeatable product development process," said Frank Koester, vice president of the Space Systems Division and director of engineering and operations at the division. "The increased efficiencies help us to better serve our end customers."
