ILM Technologies, Management Dynamics ally to add capabilities to e-commerce solution for global companies
Montreal — April 27, 2006 Solution providers ILM Technologies and Management Dynamics are partnering to deliver e-commerce and e-trade solutions to North America's manufacturers and exporters.
According to the terms of the agreement, ILM Technologies will add total landed cost calculations, including all duties, excise, value-added taxes and customs fees, from Management Dynamics into its Cameleon Commerce Server solution, which includes catalogue management, order fulfillment, supplier integration and search engine optimization, to offer a more complete solution for its global customers.
Management Dynamics said its Landed Cost Calculator helps customers obtain the total landed cost for any international shipment and compare calculations for different countries to aid in the selection of low-cost trade partners. The solution supports every duty and tax rate for every product, country-specific business and transshipment rules, and identification of preferential trade agreements for every major trading nation around the world, according to Management Dynamics.
