Vengroff, Williams and Associates joins Avolent to offer low-footprint solution for electronic invoice presentment and payment

San Francisco, CA — June 6, 2006 — Payment-side solution providers Vengroff, Williams and Associates and Avolent are partnering to introduce a new business process outsourcing (BPO) offering to provide organizations with an interactive, self-service electronic invoice presentment and payment (EIPP) solution.

The partners are basing the new service, dubbed Conveyance EIPP, on Avolent's AVOLENT 7 Standard Edition software platform, and they said that they should have the first joint customers in production by September.

The partnership joins VWA's expertise in providing receivables management services with Avolent's solution to provide customers with capabilities around e-billing, dispute management and e-payment solutions within a small application footprint.

VWA will market and sell the new service through its in-house sales staff and business partners. Conveyance EIPP will be sold to VWA's customers as part of VWA's BPO solutions. Avolent will also make VWA's BPO services available to Avolent customers.

Conveyance EIPP is intended to deliver reduced administrative costs as related to billing, accelerated cash flow and improved compliance. Conveyance EIPP automates costly, manual tasks with a self-service online application to streamline processes such as invoicing, billing and reconciliation.

"By basing Conveyance EIPP on AVOLENT 7, VWA enables its customers to move away from costly, time-intensive processes and create stronger relationships with their customers," said Doug Roberts, CEO and president of Avolent.

With $20 billion dollars under its management, Vengroff, Williams & Associates provides receivables management BPO solutions for such companies as General Electric, Ford Motor Company, Federal Express, Kodak, Microsoft, Yamaha and others.

Avolent's customers include AT&T, MasterCard, Office Depot, Unisys and Wells Fargo.
