Green Bay, Wis. — June 20, 2006 — Dollar General Corp., a national consumer products retailer with more than 8,000 stores across 34 states, said it has selected Schneider National Inc. as its 2005 Inbound Performer of the Year.

Schneider received the honor for achieving a high level of on-time delivery as a top volume carrier for Dollar General. This is the second consecutive year the company has earned the honor.

"Schneider is committed to providing clients the capacity they need to compete amid rising fuel costs and the nation's strained transportation infrastructure," said Dan Van Alstine, senior vice president of enterprise sales at Schneider National. "Our team worked hard to help Dollar General meet its commitments, and it is an honor to know we have contributed to their success."

Dollar General works with many carriers to deliver freight from its vendors to a growing number of regional distribution centers located across the United States. The company has been recognizing a select group of inbound carriers for their outstanding performance and customer service with this award for the past four years.
