Provider of supply chain services for the aviation industry expects implementation will strengthen offering for customers

Memphis, TN — June 23, 2006 — Aerospace Products International Inc. (API), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc., announce this week the successful completion of its SAP implementation project.

API is a provider of distribution and supply chain services for the aviation industry.

API is the first aerospace distributor and logistics service provider to implement SAP. SAP is the solution of choice for the leading, global players in the aviation and defense industry, said David Currence, chief information officer for API. SAP provides much of the capability we need out-of-the-box and allows us to focus development resources around the unique, value-added supply chain services that are important to our industry and to our customers.

Currence added that having the most advanced information systems enables superior visibility to each discrete activity throughout the supply chain, ultimately leading to increased service levels to API's customers.

API accomplished the entire multi-million dollar implementation in 10 months, completing the initial phase in October 2005 with the final phase completed in the quarter ending April 30, 2006.

The implementation included the integration of API's supply chain management solution, ESPsm, with SAP.

The high value of parts, critical nature of documentation and necessity to have immediate response times have made API's distribution and supply chain management solutions increasingly important to [original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), maintenance, repair and operations (MROs)], and aircraft operators, said Currence.
